Gaziantep Gıda ve Gastronomi Girişimcilik Merkezi Projesi, Avrupa Birliği tarafından finanse edilen; Uluslararası Göç Politikaları Geliştirme Merkezi (ICMPD) tarafından yürütülen ve T.C. Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı Kalkınma Ajansları Genel Müdürlüğü koordinasyonunda, Gaziantep Ticaret Odası iş birliğiyle hayata geçirilen Ortak Kullanım Tesisleri Pilot Hibe Programı kapsamında uygulanmıştır.
2021–2023 yılları arasında gerçekleştirilen projenin temel amacı; ulusal ve bölgesel ekonomik kalkınma politikalarına katkı sağlamak üzere Gaziantep’te kapsayıcı, sürdürülebilir ve etkin bir yerel girişimcilik ekosisteminin oluşturulmasına destek olmaktır. Bu doğrultuda, geçici koruma altındaki Suriyeli topluluk ile ev sahibi Türk toplumu arasında gıda ve gastronomi alanında ortak işletmelerin kurulmasını teşvik etmek; yönetim, operasyon ve pazarlama gibi kritik alanlarda yetkin, profesel standartlara sahip girişimciler yetiştirmek ve hedef kitlenin etkileşim kurabileceği, ihtiyaç duyduğu hizmetlere erişebileceği bir ortak kullanım alanı oluşturmak hedeflenmiştir.
“Gaziantep Gıda ve Gastronomi Girişimcilik Merkezi”nin kurulması amacıyla yürütülen proje kapsamında, 24 gıda girişimcisi ve 24 girişimci adayının eğitim programlarıyla desteklenmesi ve mentorluk süreçlerinin tamamlanması öngörülmüştür. Mentor havuzunun oluşturulmasının ardından, girişimci ve adaylara yönelik birebir mentorluk faaliyetleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca proje süresince 2 seminer, 2 webinar, 3 atölye, ve 1 Tanıtım Günü çalışması düzenlenmiştir.

The Gaziantep Food and Gastronomy Entrepreneurship Hub Project was implemented under the Common Use Facilities Pilot Grant Program for Gaziantep and Şanlıurfa, financed by the European Union, carried out by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), and coordinated by the Directorate General of Development Agencies of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology, in cooperation with the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce.
Implemented between 2021 and 2023, the main objective of the project was to contribute to national and regional economic development policies by supporting the establishment of an inclusive, sustainable, and effective local entrepreneurship ecosystem in Gaziantep. In this context, the project aimed to foster the creation of joint businesses in the field of food and gastronomy between the Syrian community under temporary protection and the host Turkish community; to develop entrepreneurs equipped with professional approaches and standards in critical areas such as management, operations, and marketing; and to establish a shared-use facility where the target groups can interact and access the services they need.
Within the scope of the project, initiated with the goal of establishing the “Gaziantep Food and Gastronomy Entrepreneurship Hub,” a total of 24 food entrepreneurs and 24 prospective entrepreneurs were supported through training programs and completed tailored mentoring processes. Following the establishment of a mentor pool, individualized mentoring sessions were conducted with both entrepreneurs and candidates. In addition, 2 seminars, 2 webinars, 3 workshops and 1 Demo-Day were organized throughout the project period.
